Ardeen Gold Project Prospects

Fisher

The Fisher prospect is located approximately 300 metres east of the Ardeen Gold Deposit. High grade gold mineralization has been intersected in drilling over a strike length of more than 400 metres, with the mineralisation remaining open along strike in both directions and at depth. Additional potential is also indicated to the south and southwest of the prospect. More than 70% of the drill core from the Fisher prospect was not analysed previously. Despite this, historic intersections in diamond drilling include:

  • 2.7 metres at 133.32 g/t gold from 10.4 metres
  • 5.0 metres at 24.79 g/t gold from 19.0 metres
  • 14.2 metres at 7.52 g/t gold from 19.7 metres
  • 1.5 metres at 38.40 g/t gold from 15.9 metres
  • 1.5 metres at 19.20 g/t gold from 21.9 metres
  • 4.6 metres at 6.86 g/t gold from 30.5 metres
  • 5.8 metres at 11.06 g/t gold from 24.4 metres
  • 1.8 metres at 27.7 g/t gold from 22.2 metres

McKellar

The McKellar prospect is located 500 metres southwest of the main shaft at the Ardeen Gold Deposit. Underground development at the 114m level comes within 30 meters of the McKellar mineralisation. Mineralised quartz veins within the shear zone at the prospect can be traced at surface over more than 3,200 metres of strike. Outstanding historic drilling results from the prospect include:

  • 3.7 metres at 41.66 g/t gold from 13.4 metres
  • 4.3 metres at 37.32 g/t gold from 11.9 metres
  • 3.4 metres at 14.37 g/t gold from 28.2 metres
  • 1.2 metres at 12.89 g/t gold from 3.6 metres

The extensive shear zone at the McKellar prospect is sparsely drilled and there is excellent potential to delineate additional mineralisation in this corridor.

Trench 2

The Trench 2 prospect is located about 450 metres northeast of the Ardeen Gold Project. Historic diamond drilling has intersected high grade gold mineralisation over more than 250 meters of strike and includes:

  • 1.0 metres at 46.65 g/t gold from 71.0 metres
  • 0.8 metres at 27.19 g/t gold from 4.6 metres
  • 0.6 metres at 23.38 g/t gold from 23.8 metres

Mineralisation remains open in all directions. More than 70% of the drill core from the Trench 2 prospect was not previously analysed.
