Work Program
The Company plans to continue exploration at the Ardeen Gold Project in conjunction with the Cameron Gold Project. The extensive drilling conducted by Coventry at Fisher, McKellar and Post prospects will be evaluated to determine the plunge controls to the mineralisation so that additional targets for follow-up drill testing are generated.
The Ardeen Gold Project has very good potential for the delineation of shallow, very-high grade gold mineralisation which would complement any further development at the low-grade Moss Lake Gold Deposit (56.1Mt at 0.92 g/t gold for 1.5 Moz of gold) located only 4.5km to the east of the project.
Coventry is excited by the by the very large gold-in-till anomaly extending over a strike of more than 1,300 metres and up to 682 ppb gold associated with the large-scale Boundary Fault Zone, along with three other anomalies associated with the same structure. In addition to these anomalies, an extensive zone of gold anomalism extending over a strike of more than 1,200 metres occurs in the vicinity of the historic Ardeen Mine, recording a peak assay of 515 ppb Au. Further work is required to determine if this anomaly may be representative of new extensions to known mineralisation. Infill till and humus sampling and prospecting will be conducted over these high priority anomalies during the northern hemisphere autumn (fall).
Other prospects within the project area will be also further evaluated by additional sampling.
